There are several ways to get in touch with the Rives du Lac team:

Reception hours in July and August:

  • Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 10:00 am – 12:00 pm / 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm
  • Tuesday: 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm
  • Saturday, Sunday: 3 p.m. – 7 p.m.

Out of season, reception is not open except for arrivals at 4 pm. Please call us on 05 63 98 35 28 before you arrive.

Our team speaks English and French, and will do their utmost to reply as quickly as possible. We advise you to book as early as possible, especially in July and August, to guarantee the availability of your accommodation.

The campsite is located 9.5 km from Lacaune, easily accessible from the region’s main roads. From Montpellier (approx. 2 hrs), take the A75 towards Clermont-Ferrand, then follow signs for Bédarieux and Lacaune via the D908. From Toulouse (approx. 2 h), take the A68 towards Albi, then the D612 to Lacaune, and follow the signs to Nages. From Béziers (approx. 1 h), take the D909 up to Bédarieux, then on to Lacaune and Nages. As you approach Lac du Laouzas, follow the signs to “Les Rives du Lac”. Parking is available at the campsite reception.

The nearest train station is Béziers (TGV service from Paris-Montparnasse, Toulouse and Montpellier). From Béziers station, you can rent a car or take a cab to Nages (approx. 1 hr. drive). There is also a train station at Castres from Toulouse. Check with the SNCF for timetables and connections.

The nearest airports are :

  • Béziers-Cap d’Agde (approx. 1 h drive): flights from Paris and several European cities
  • Montpellier-Méditerranée (approx. 1 hr 30 min.): a regional hub with easy access from all over France and Europe
  • Toulouse-Blagnac (approx. 2 h): Occitanie region’s main airport

From any of these airports, car rental is the most convenient way to reach Nages and Lac du Laouzas.

The Monts de Lacaune region boasts a number of signposted mountain bike and cycle trails. Courageous cyclists can reach the campsite from Lacaune by bike, taking the country roads that run alongside the lakes and forests of the Parc naturel régional du Haut-Languedoc. A two-wheeled arrival that immerses you in nature from the very first kilometer!
